Welcome to Concord Elevator London, Ontario

October 2006

Good Morning Elaine,

I was wondering if you could pass on to your management that I was really impressed with your technicians, who installed our elevator.  First of all it's nice to meet young people with manners. Second of all they were very knowledgeable about their product and last but not least they could communicate the operation of the elevator in simple layman's terms.

Thank-you very much for a job well done!!!

Dear Dave,

I wanted to write to tell you how pleased I am to get our elevator back in service after it was disabled due to lighting or a power surge.  I was really impressed with the dedication and hard work your crew demonstrated.  The problem was obviously a serious one with much of the electronics damaged.  Your service people spent a lot of phone time with the Concord Elevator (London) Ltd. technicians to solve the problem.

It was also refreshing to have a local company to respond, show up when promised and call if there was a delay.  Very little of this is seen around here.

Thanks again Dave for your attention to detail.  I would certainly recommend your service to anyone in need of elevator service.

Sincerely,

Robert A. Nawman

Dear Kathy and Doug

I wish to compliment you and your company for your excellent response and result in fixing our elevator.  In this day and age it is refreshing to experience such service.  I think from the time I phone until the elevator was operation again it was about 1 hour and 10 minutes!

Again please accept our thanks.

Good morning: Just a little note to let you now how very pleased I was with our maintenance visit on January 3l, 2006. The gentleman's name was Paul.  He was wonderful. He was respectful of our home, took his shoes off before entering the house and respectful of me. I happened to mention that I had been cracking my head on the metal box for ten years (our basement is very, very tiny, like a crawl space), to my surprise, he had moved the metal box around the corner without saying anything. That was so thoughtful of him.  He cleaned up every bit of the dirt etc. that was there or that he had made doing the job. Paul was a real gentleman and you should be proud to have him as an employee of your company. I would recommend him highly. Thank you so much,

Sincerely,

Lynda Parnaby

Enclosed cheque for current invoice.  I would also like to tell you how courteous, competent and kind I always find your staff.

The names Karen, Colleen and Doug spring to mind as they are the ones with whom I have most recently dealt, but everyone has been the same.

I would appreciate this being conveyed to the “powers that be” because staff of this high caliber is rare, and I hope you treasure them!

Sincerely,

Patricia Hodkin

I am also quite pleased with the keypad installation, this method of operation appears to be much more user friendly for our tenants than the standard key operation..."

"In 1991, Walton Memorial United church decided to install a Concord Accessibility Prolift Elevator. Rev. Jim Gill recalls that, "We recognized an urgent need for an accessibility elevator. Older members of the congregation and their families had stopped coming to church - a church that had been a part of their life for 40 years." The elevator is primarily used by the elderly and, without the elevator, a minimum of twelve steps must be climbed and descended just to reach the service level.

The elevator also provides accessibility to both the basement and the street level.

Once the Concord elevator was up and running, we experienced no service or operating problems. I would not hesitate to recommend a Concord Lift to anyone."

Rev. James C. Gill
